Szews promoted at Oshkosh

Oshkosh Truck, the parent company of JLG, has promoted Charles Szews from executive vice president and chief financial officer to president and chief operating officer, effective October 1, 2007.

At the same time David M. Sagehorn moves from vice president and treasurer to executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.

Szews who served as interim president of JLG during the six month transition period following its acquisition by Oshkosh, joined Oshkosh in 1996 and has spearheaded the company’s expansion programme. He was appointed executive vice president in 1997 and joined the Oshkosh board of directors earlier this year.

Prior to joining Oshkosh, Szews was vice president and controller of Fort Howard Corporation, at the time the leading commercial tissue manufacturer in the U.S., and before that was a senior audit manager with Ernst & Young.

Referring to the appointment of David Sagehorn Bohn said: "Dave is a seasoned professional whose career portfolio includes extensive experience in business unit finance, corporate treasury and mergers and acquisitions. We look forward to his continued contribution and strategic leadership on the executive team."

Sagehorn joined Oshkosh in March 2000 as director, business development and vice president, finance for Oshkosh's defense business before being promoted to vice president and treasurer. Prior to joining Oshkosh, Sagehorn worked in corporate finance at CNH Global and began his career in public accounting.
