Wumag claims 11

Wumag says that it has now taken firm orders for 11 of its new 103 metre truck mounted lift, the first of which was recently delivered to Eisele.

Among the orders are three units for Riwal, one of which is destined for Dubai where it is booked for a one year contract starting in 2008. The Riwal order is said to be worth over €4 million.

Among the other orders we understand that one unit is destined for the UK, although at last weeks Vertikal Days both Wumag and its UK distributor SkyKing remained tight lipped on who the customer might be.

Wumag appears to have a runaway success with its new machine. The combination of the fantastic, well proven Faun crane carrier with its compact dimensions and multiple axle drive and steer combinations and the Wumag upper structure looks to be a real winner.

It should prove popular for both congested city work and high reach out of town applications such as windmill maintenance.

Both Ruthmann and Bronto need to look at what Wumag has achieved here when they plan any larger additions to their product ranges.
