Link-Belt adds two new cranes
Link-Belt has introduced two new 70 tonne models - the truck mounted HTC 8675 series II and the 138 HSL crawler crane.
HTC-8675 series II
Originally introduced in 1996, the HTC-8675 has been one of the most popular models for more than a decade. Link-Belt claims that the series II has more standard features, longer reach, improved lift capacities and better road mobility.

Link-Belt’s new 75 ton HTC-8675
At 38.7 metres, the boom is nearly four metres longer and features four instead of two boom modes. The optional two-piece11.6–19.5 metre bi-fold lattice fly and two optional 4.9 metre lattice extensions give a maximum tip height of 70.2 metres. The fly offsets to 2, 15, 30, and 45 degrees.
Link-Belt claims that lifting capacities have been improved by almost 20 percent.
138 HSL
Link-Belt has also introduced a 73 tonne capacity lattice boom crawler crane - the 138 HSL - with a 12.2 to 61 metre (40 to 200 ft) main tubular chord boom. The machine also has an optional 12.2 to 45.7 metres (40 to 150 ft) angle boom

The new Link Belt 138 HSL
New, front and rear drums feature the latest Link-Belt wet brake technology as used in other HSL models which is said to give the brake a responsive feel with no delayed reaction.
Maximum line pull for the front or rear drum is 14,144 kgs.
Also new is the Rated Capacity Limiter incorporating a high-visibility color graphic display which features load-on-hook, maximum allowable load-on-hook, boom length, boom angle, tip height, and audible and visual warnings.
