Janneniska the truck mounted aerial lift rental company based in Vantaa, near Helsinki, Finland, as acquired Nofa, a Swedish aerial lift rental company located in Stockholm.

Niska says that if the Pekkaniska and Janneniska fleets are combined with the 100 odd units from Nofa, it has a total of 6,800 units, which it claims is the largest fleet in the Nordic region. Given that a number of Ramirent’s machines are based in central Europe this might be just be possible.
Nofa was founded in 1990 by Joackim Olsson and has a mixed fleet of trailer lifts, scissors, booms and trucks. It has been re-renting truck mounts from Janneniska for the past year or so. It has revenues in the region of €3.5 million.
The Nofa staff are expected to remain with the company although Olsson is expected to move on within the next six months.
Janne Niska said: "Janneniska's and Nofa's offering complements each other perfectly: Janneniska is specialised in the tallest truck mounted platforms while Nofa can cover customer needs in the low and mid-heights."
