Eagle West Cranes buys three

Eagle West Cranes of Canada, with locations in Vancouver, Abbotsford, Kamloops, Kelowna & Calgary, has purchased three Southern Alberta-based companies - Cox Crane Ltd. in Medicine Hat, Cox Hoisting Ltd in Lethbridge and Custom Cranes Ltd in Brooks.

Eagle West will finalise the deal on May 30, 2008 and the current owner of Cox Crane, Lee Cox, will become the district manager for all three companies with all company names and the hourly workforces remaining as before.

The three companies have 16 cranes (6 boom trucks and 10 hydraulic cranes) ranging in size from 17 to 100 tons between them.
