Power-Lift to UpRight

Power-Lift the German distributor for UpRight Powered access, owned by Holger Johan, is changing its name to UpRight Powered Access Deutschland.

Power-Lift has operated as UpRight’s master distributor for Germany since 2006 and has recently increased its commitment to the product line in terms of sales and support and felt that it would also benefit from adopting the UpRight name as a trading division of the company.

The company can call on 42 service engineers across the country thanks to its own staff, contract service companies and its local dealer network.

Johan said: “Keeping our customers’ machines working and earning them money is critical to the success of our business. So strengthening the service network is an investment in future growth.”

“We have significantly expanded our UpRight operations over the past two years. We now feel that the best way to demonstrate our commitment is to carry the name – and this will also help differentiate UpRight from other ongoing activities within the Power-Lift business.”

Richard Tindale, UpRight’s sales & marketing director adds: “The UpRight brand and identity is one of our most valuable commodities. However, we are happy to lend our name to this new operation in Germany, because it substantially reinforces our capacity to provide excellent customer service.”

The new name will be officially launched at Platformer’s Days next week.
