Storent buys Nifty
Storent SIA, the recently formed Latvian rental company has ordered 20 Nifty trailer lifts. The order, confirmed last week, includes Niftylift N120H, N120T and N170 models.
Andris Bisnieks is chairman of the Riga based company, which was established earlier this year when he and three other managers, Andris Pavlovs, Girts Putnins and Inga Jolkina left Ramirent Latvia to set up in opposition. Bisnieks had been managing director at the company and was instrumental in building it up over a 10 year period.
The company which is still at its very early stages or setting up has focused on Haulotte aerial lifts and Manitou telehandlers until now.
Jim Craddock of Niftylift said: “Although the Baltic markets have experienced a sharp economic downturn, the demand and awareness for our products in these developing markets is currently still growing.”
