UpRight launches HD scissor

UpRight has unveiled a new 80ft platform height heavy duty Dutch style scissor lift which will be on display next week at APEX.

The new UpRight X80ND

The UpRight X80ND is a narrow (N), diesel-powered (D) scissor designed and built by its new partner Omega lift. It is just 1.24 metres wide with a 600kg lift capacity. The unit is equipped with four levelling jacks to allow it to operate on sloping ground.

Gross Vehicle Weight is 15,700 kgs. It has four wheel drive and steer, 35 percent gradeability and a 7.2 metre by 1.2 metre deck.

The X80ND will, says UpRight, be followed by further model in a range of large deck scissors including Rough Terrain models.

Richard Tindale, sales & marketing director at UpRight, said: "We committed to our distributor network that we would have a much broader diesel scissor lift product offering by the end of 2008. The launch today of the UpRight X80ND is the first step in our fulfilment of that promise."

Other models to be unveiled at APEX include a new 34ft trailer lift, a crawler mounted scissor lift, another scissor and a trailer mounted scissor lift.
