The bucket truck's outriggers sank into the grass
The man was 15 metres up and the A-Frame outrigger was set up on the church lawn with no outrigger mat. As a result the outrigger punched a hole in the grass causing the lift to tip dumping the man onto the ground. The lift, a Hydra-Tech, Lift-All was not seriously damaged.
The victim, Johnny Studdards, remains in critical condition at Erlanger Hospital’s intensive care unit.
