Weldex tops the profits
UK based crawler crane rental specialist Weldex has been listed as one of fastest growing privately held UK companies in terms of profitability.
The company was listed 69 in this week’s Sunday Times survey of the 100 fastest growing companies with profits growing at 52 percent a year from £3 million in 2006 to £10.4 million in 2009.
Weldex, which is still managed by its founder Dougie McGilray, was acquired by Dunedin Capital Partners in a secondary buyout from NVM Private Equity last year. The survey is sponsored by PWC.
