Another Liebherr for SCH

UK crane rental company Specialist Crane Hire has purchased a new Liebherr LTM1130-5.1 All Terrain crane.

This follows the addition of the latest 60 tonne Liebherr LTM1060-3.1 to the fleet in March. The LTM1130 continues the modernisation of Specialist’s fleet for infrastructure projects in Northwest England. The company said that improved reliability and quality were key factors in the selection of Liebherr as a partner for its Lancaster depot which has several customers operating in the nuclear power sector.

“With a 130 tonne lift capability, 60 metre main boom and compact dimensions the LTM1130 is ideal for many sites where access and space is restricted,” said SCH managing director John Chappell. “This crane has amazed our Appointed Persons with its versatility and along with our experience in complex lifting, the potential is truly impressive. As the recovery in construction in the Northwest picks up, demand for this crane has already been high.”
