New GM for United Crane

Baltimore, Maryland based United Crane & Rigging has appointed Joe Mirabile, Jr. as general manager.

Mirabile began his career at United Crane & Rigging in 1997 as an apprentice and worked his way up through the business over the following 17 years through various roles, including crane operator, sales representative, and project manager. Since 2013, he has worked in a sales and project management capacity at Richmond, Virginia, based W. O. Grubb Crane Rental.

Joe Mirabile

In his new role at United, Mirabile will have direct responsibility for both sales and operations and will be a key figure in seeking out new opportunities for growth. The company is headquartered in Baltimore, but also has a second branch location in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on the outskirts of Washington, D.C.

Tom Logan, president of parent company M-L Holdings said: "Joe’s leadership and extensive knowledge of the market and crane business will have a positive impact on our employees and customer base.”

United Crane & Rigging was established over 45 years ago and specialises in bare and operated crane rental with a focus on the tower crane and hoist markets. Although it has a mobile crane fleet topped out by a 250 tonne Terex AC250-1 and is the Kobelco crawler crane dealer.
