The scene in Sofia on Thursday
We now know that the crane, a free standing/counterweighted top slewer was working on a site some distance from the filling station, the site manager has blamed the overturn on a technical problem, but so far we have been unable to clarify what that was. We also now know that injuries to at least two of the three were relatively minor and that the stations fuel tanks and pumps were not seriously damaged - so a lucky one all round.
