CMC spiders for Klubb
Italian truck and spider lift manufacturer CMC has appointed Klubb France as its spider lift distributor for the French market.
Klubb which emerged in January with the launch of a brand new van mounted platform range, will display CMC spider lifts on its stand at the JDL MED exhibition, which opens tomorrow in Marseille and runs until Friday.
CMC export manager Giovanni Carbonara said: “The well-known performance and reliability of CMC’s spiders allowed us to sign this agreement with the main company in the French market.”
Klubb chief executive Julien Bourrellis added: “ The agreement with CMC will allow us to accelerate company growth in the French market. Actually we are the number one in France for vehicle mounted aerial platforms and with CMC we complete our range of products with spiders.”

Klubb France came into being in January with the launch of its range of van mounted lifts, but can trace its roots back to the 1980s as Time France, the Versalift distributor. It parted company with Versalift shortly after the launch of Klubb, and its move into a new purpose built manufacturing facility. It is the principle part of the family owned Gelev Group with revenues of around €40 million and more than 140 employees.
