Kalmar appoints new Americas team
Reach stacker and port crane manufacturer Kalmar has appointed four new members to its management team for the Americas.
Erika Barbosa has been appointed vice president, sales and services for Central and South America. She joins Kalmar from Caterpillar, where she worked since 2011 as a sales and operations manager, a global construction and infrastructure (GCI) territory manager, and aftermarket solutions manager. Barbosa will be based in Panama, and focus on supporting Kalmar operations in Mexico, Panama, Argentina, and Brazil.

Marco Nava joins Kalmar as the managing director, Mexico. Nava joins Kalmar from Volvo Trucks, where he was automotive division manager from 2009 to 2011. He then worked in key accounts for the Volvo truck division.

Steve Cianci has been appointed vice president, industrial markets and counterbalanced products. He joins the company from UniCarrier, a division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries where he was vice president, sales and marketing for three years.

Göran Krave has been appointed director, services in the Americas region. He has worked at Cargotec since 2012, where he has been business development manager, service contracts manager, and head of business development.
