Joint MDs for Weber
German hydraulics specialist Weber-Hydraulik has appointed Christian Rösch and Reinhard Pfendtner as joint managing directors. They succeed former chief executive Volker Plücker, who has led the company since early 2013.
Rösch will also serve as commercial director having joined Weber last month from engineering firm KSB, where he was regional executive officer. He spent 10 years with KSB in variety of roles including three years as commercial manager. He began his career in 1998 with Faurecia Exhaust Systems spending four years with the company before moving to Behr as controller of its engine cooling product division, moving to KSB in 2004.

Christian Rösch
Pfendtner is also technical director, having been chief operating officer at Weber for the past year. He joined the company in January 2015 as a plant manager. He joined Weber following more than eight years with Bosch, as chief operating officer for its Spanish division, before moving to the Indian subsidiary in 2011 to focus on chassis systems, becoming managing director in 2012, before moving back to Bosch Germany in 2014 as a project manager.
