New Snorkel UK dealer

Snorkel UK has appointed Sheffield based PLP Lift Trucks as a regional dealer to service local customers in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.

The company will sell and service Snorkel lifts throughout the region with the full support of Snorkel UK. As part of the deal it has purchased three platforms, a 12ft TM12 telescopic mast lift, a 19ft S3219E electric slab scissor lift and a 38ft A38E electric articulated boom lift.

PLP managing director John Organ added: “We have been involved in the sale, service and repair of powered access equipment previously, however, this was not at a dealership level. Powered access products are a great fit for our customer base, and earlier this year we began our search for a powered access brand that would match the high quality materials handling products already in our portfolio. We approached Snorkel UK, and were extremely impressed by their products, UK manufacturing facility and what they could offer as a supplier. We particularly liked how the Snorkel lifts were designed for the hire market, and their recent design investments that ensure they are fit for purpose for the day-to-day wear and tear usually associated with a typical hire.
