60t Liebherr for Crowland

UK rental company Crowland Cranes has taken delivery of a new 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane.

The three axle crane features a five section 48 metre main boom, and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 67 metres and a working maximum radius of 48 metres. The crane is also able to travel with all 12.8 tonnes of counterweight on board.

Managing director Peter Issitt said: "We have seen good reliability from our LTC and support from Liebherr GB, this has resulted in us having confidence in this second purchase. The LTM 1060 is the strongest crane in its class, so as part of our 55/60 tonne All Terrain replacement program within the fleet it seemed the best suited solution for us."
