25t Potain arrives in Sweden
Swedish crane rental company Lambertsson Kran has taken delivery of one of the first Potain MDT 809 flat top cranes to be delivered.
Launched at bauma last year, Lambertsson played a significant role in the design of Potain’s largest flat top to date – see:
Lambertsson takes new Potain. The MDT 809 has a maximum capacity of 25 tonnes and an 80 metre jib and is said to be faster to erect, dismantle and transport.
The crane went straight out with contractor ByggDialog for material handling work on the extension of the Skaraborgs hospital in Skövde, near Gothenburg, where it is configured with 55 metre jib and an under hook height of 37.4 metres.

Lambertsson managing director Jan Heed said: “This is a challenging project that involves lifting heavy elements over long distances. With its large capacity, we knew the MDT 809 was the crane for our customer.”
Lambertsson Kran has been a distributor of Potain cranes since 1980 and runs a fleet of around 200 Potain self-erecting and top slewing cranes in Sweden and a further 150 in Norway.
