Italian truck mounted and spider lift manufacturer Comet has appointed Antonio Micacchioni as after sales manager, he was previously production manager a role he has held since 2019. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the company’s after sales support team, while developing new customer service initiatives.

Micacchioni's career in the access and lifting industry began in 2003 when he joined loader crane and material handling company Hiab/Effer as after sales technical support specialist. After six and a half years with the company he moved to rival loader crane manufacturer PM Group, where over the next four years he worked on the development of electronic control systems and safety management software.
He left PM in 2013 for Swiss custom loader crane manufacturer and crane distributor Hodel Betriebe where he was appointed as sales manager. The company tends to use Effer cranes for its projects, but also distributes Fassi, BG cranes, Hoeflon, and is a service partner for Marchetti and Cranetec he remained with the company for six years until marking the move to Comet.
