Abba take first UK Genie GTH-5022R
Abba Plant Hire has become the first UK company to purchase the Genie GTH-5022 R 22 metre 360 degree telehandler.

Abba, which also trades under the name of APH Cranes and Access.
says that it is confident that the new 5022, which offers 5,000 kgs lift capacity, will be well received by its customers.
Manager, Nick Howe said: “It is not expected to have much rest over the next few years. We already have demand from various segments of the construction sector. This machine is ideal for many applications such as: steel erection, masonry and framing, commercial & residential construction, landscape and agriculture.”
Established in the 1980’s by John Martin-Hoyes, Abba Plant Hire originally specialised in the rental of compact plant and large excavators, only recently moving into the aerial work platform market. In just over a year, the company has built up a fleet of over 70 Genie lifts

Hoyes adds: “We were latecomers to the powered access scene and regret that we didn’t get into it earlier, but for the past 18 months we have put a lot of effort into getting this side of the business established and we’re certain our £1.85 million investment into Genie products will pay off.”
