Amquip appoints crawler manager

US based Amquip crane rental has appointed Guy Erwin as its national crawler crane manager. Prior to his appointment Erwin was area sales manager Florida/N. Carolina/S. Carolina/Georgia region for Essex Crane, the crawler crane specialist.

Erwin, will be based in Orlando Florida, where he lives and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the national crawler crane division, including safety, customer relations, key account management, fleet mix and logistics.

AmQuip is looking to increase its presence in the southeastern United States and extend its coverage along the east coast with the establishment of a new Orlando office.

Erwin has spent more than 10 years in the crane industry, having started out with Carlisle Crane and then moving on to Maxim Crane, before joining Essex.
