Ramirent appoints new Russian manager
Finnish base Ramirent has appointed Grigory Grif, 43, as its country manager, for Russia.
Grif has been employed by Ramirent since 2004 as general manager
of Ramirent's operations in St. Petersburg, which originally traded as PeterRent.
Timo Korhonen, director, Ramirent Europe, which includes Russia, the Baltic states and central Europe, said: “We are very pleased to have a person with Mr. Grif's long experience of the rental business in Russia to head our operations in this vast market. His responsibilities will include all Ramirent operations in the Russian Federation, implementation of long-term strategy, and further business development.”
Ramirent has had a presence in Russia for more than 15 years initially through Techrent in Moscow and Peterrent in St Petersburg and offers a wide range of rental equipment and related services including aerial lifts mast climbers, telehandlers, alloy towers and scaffold. Today Ramirent's Russian operations include four outlets in St. Petersburg and three in Moscow.
Grif has a long experience of the construction industry in Russia, prior to joining Ramirent, he was general manager at contractor NCC Industry and before that general manager of Altima the rental division of NCC.
