Loxam and HWS go Hitachi
Loxam Access, Holland (previously Spreeuwenberg Hoogwerksystemen) has purchased eight new Hitachi HX99B-2 32ft platform height crawler mounted boom lifts.
Prior to committing to the purchase, Loxam insisted on an extensive test and evaluation programme, which Hitachi aerial lift distributor, Eurosupply organised.

The first two units have already been delivered, in Loxam red, with the aim that each of Loxam’s four locations will have two HX99B’s in its fleet. The crawler mounted Hitachi’s are targeted at customers in the petrochemical industry, such as Shell, BP, Kemira etc. The machines are equipped with spark arrestors, generators, special batteries and a drive cut-off at two metres working height.
And six to HWS
Eurosupply has also sold six Hitachi crawler mounted booms to HWS Verhuur of Noordwijk. The order includes four of the 32ft platform height (11.7 metre working height) HX99B-2 and two 21ft platform height HX64B-2 (8.5 metres work height).

The owners of rapidly expanding HWS, Paul van Boven and Toby van de Kooy, said that they chose Hitachi for the excellent quality and its popularity with their customers. HWS now has 21 Hitachi crawler type boom lifts in its rental fleet
