The deal is for GN 25/25 diesel/electric cranes with 48 metre boom lengths, 25 tonne capacity at 25 metres radius and 7.5 tonnes with full 48 metre boom. Placed via Pellegrini UK, it is said to be worth around £42 million.

The cranes feature: constant tension, fast boom movement with double drum on single winch, fast slewing motion, a hydraulic system with special Bosch-Rexroth components and a built-in overload protection system.
The first four cranes will be installed on two Petrobras offshore oil drilling and production platforms in Brazil’s Campos Basin.
Bill Whitehead of Pellegrini UK said: “This significant order further reinforces the quality reputation of Pellegrini marine cranes, particularly in the developing offshore market.”
