Expansion for Tadano Oceania

Australian based Tadano Oceania has moved to new premises in Sydney adding space and additional facilities.

The new facility in Wetherill Park in the western industrial hub of Sydney has around 1,600 square metres of space, is close to the M7 freeway, and a 45 minute drive from Sydney airport. It is dedicated to the sales, spares and service of Tadano cranes and comes just over two years after the crane manufacturer took control of its distribution in the area. The new facility will be supported by Tadano Oceania’s main parts depot in Brisbane.

The new location is headed by Justin Andrews in sales - following his relocation to NSW last year, Amanda McKenna responsible for administration and parts support and Noel Henderson looking after the service department. The company says that the new premises will allow it to stock more German, Japanese and American Tadano built cranes for the local market.

"The NSW market is particularly suited to the Tadano All Terrain and truck crane models," said Justin Andrews. The Sydney market is reputed to be the biggest All-Terrain crane market in Australia, so apart from the Japanese built Truck and Rough Terrain cranes, and American built hydraulic crawler cranes, Tadano build an excellent All Terrain crane in their factory in Germany which fits well into this market."
