The operation based in Hangzhou, China, was established in 2006 as a joint venture between Linden Comansa and Jie Holding – originally a producer of speed reducers based in Hangzhou. The two partners reached an agreement last month regarding the future of the business that saw the amicable departure of Jie Holding as a shareholder.
A symbolic launch ceremony for Comansa CM took place at the Hangzhou factory at the end of last month. The event was chaired by part of the management team from the Linden Comansa group in presence of most of the Comansa CM staff. The ceremony included the unveiling of the new logo and company name at the gates of the factory, followed by a gala dinner.

Linden Comansa said: “The change in the shareholding will barely affect the trajectory of the company. The sales and product strategy will remain as before and the staff and the management team will be exactly the same. A clear example of this continuity is the Comansa CM logo itself, which has undergone minimal changes in comparison with the previous one”.
