First Jekko JF545 in the Netherlands

The first unit of the new Jekko JF545 articulated spider crane to be delivered in the Netherlands went straight out on its first job last weekend.

The Jekko JF545 arrives in Holland

The crane has been purchased by local dealer HoCap for its sales inventory and was loaned to a potential customer on a try before you buy basis in Amsterdam. The crane, launched last year, is based on a Fassi articulated crane. It offers a maximum tip height of 30 metres and can handle a tonne at 25 metres. It has an overall width of 1.84 metres and overall length of 5.45 metres.

The job involved lifting a two tonne load in a production hall with limited additional headroom.

The first Jekko JF545 in the Netherlands carries out its first job

HoCap sales manager Costiaan Brouwer said: "This crane combines an articulated truck loader crane with a self-propelled crawler chassis, a must have piece of equipment for each machinery mover."
